Working Together

Hands and Speech Bubbles

Face Blind UK is run by and for people with prosopagnosia and currently has over 600 members.  While most live in the UK a fifth are from overseas, especially from  Australia and North America.

The research into prosopagnosia has so far been primarily within the field of neuroscience, with limited resources to guide individuals with face blindness.  We seek to bring together people’s experiences, ideas, learning and strategies, and share these in the resources that we develop.

Zoom meetings are now a part of bringing people together.   Sometimes to discuss a specific  topic (such as research or prosopagnosia in the workplace) and sometimes bringing together a particular group of people (such as parents or those with acquired prosopagnosia).  To join the mailing list and receive the latest news on the Zoom meeting and other updates you can sign up as a member.

Neurological Alliance

Face Blind UK was accepted as a member of The Neurological Alliance in 2023.

The Neurological Alliance   is a coalition of more than 90 UK organisations working together to improve treatment, care and support for people affected by neurological conditions.

Their campaign #BackThe1in6 focuses on the fact that 1 in 6 people live with a neurological condition, but there simply isn’t the workforce or services in place to support them.
